Beginning your project
How do we begin?
Begin your project online: a few questions, each answered with a tap, and only your name, email and phone to type. If you’d rather talk, call us or arrange a complimentary consultation at a time that suits you. We respond within one business day.
Is the consultation complimentary?
Yes. Your consultation is complimentary, with no obligation. You may choose an in-home consultation, a private appointment at our Brookvale base, or a phone or video consultation.
Do we need plans from an architect or designer?
Not at all. Many of our commissions begin with a simple idea, a sketch or a photograph of a space you love. If your architect or designer has prepared plans, we review them with you and refine the detail together.
What should we prepare for the consultation?
Simply your ideas: photographs of spaces you admire, any plans you have, and a sense of how you live and entertain. We take precise measurements on site.
Design and craftsmanship
Do you design, as well as craft and install?
Yes. Design, manufacture and installation all remain with our own team. Every cabinet, handle and finish is drawn and refined with you in detailed shop drawings before any material is cut.
Where is your joinery made?
In our own Sydney facility, where every panel is precision-machined on computer-controlled CNC equipment, then assembled and finished by our own cabinet makers.
Which materials and finishes can we choose from?
Polyurethane in any Dulux colour and sheen, Polytec and Laminex surfaces, natural marble, porcelain and engineered stone, Blum soft-close hardware, and handles from solid brass to mother of pearl.
Can we see samples before we decide?
Certainly. We bring door, benchtop and hardware samples to your consultation, or you’re welcome to experience them in person at a private appointment in Brookvale.
Can our new joinery complement the rest of our home?
Yes. We often carry the same door profile, colour and hardware from the kitchen to the wardrobes, vanities and laundry, so the entire residence feels composed as one.
Working together
Do you manage complete renovations?
We can manage your complete kitchen renovation, or supply and install your joinery alongside your builder.
Who installs our joinery?
Our own team: the cabinet makers who crafted it. At handover, we guide you through caring for your new joinery.
Do you work with architects, designers and builders?
Yes. We work from your drawings and finishes schedule, prepare detailed shop drawings for approval, and coordinate installation with your builder.
Do you undertake commercial projects?
Yes. We craft commercial joinery for reception, workplace, retail and hospitality spaces, to the same exacting standard as our residential work.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. GB Interiors is fully licensed and insured, under NSW contractor licence 478230C.

We’re based in Brookvale, and design, deliver and install across Sydney Metro & surrounds, including the Northern Beaches, North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, Inner City, Hills District and South West Sydney.
Can we visit you?
Certainly, by appointment. Arrange a private appointment at our Brookvale base to meet the team and experience samples in person.
